Our Basket Sale is over, and the racks are now full of Spring clothing! Unfortunately, we've had to eliminate the pretty rhinestones (too much of a risk of Lead). Since we can't legally donate, sell, or export them, we've been forced to put our existing inventory on our own children. (Waste not, want not, right?) After, of course, a thorough education on the dangers of eating her clothes, my daughter was thrilled with the increase in her wardrobe. I didn't have the heart to tell her, there'd be no more sparklies for her in the future.Read my prior posts about the CPSIA and what you can do to help amend this over-reaching law. Turn Key Birthday Bashes:
We're working on making Enkore Kids a one-stop place to plan your child's next birthday. You'll be able to choose from four themes:
- Melissa & Doug Crafts Party (craft of your choice -from a selection-for each child to complete as a take-home gift)
- Webkinz Extravaganza Party (a lil kinz for each child to take home and Webkinz-themed games to play for extra small prizes)
- Princess Party (little girls will make a tiara and play princess games)
- Pirate Party (little boys will shiver the timbers with fun)
For just the theme decorations, activities, and take-home gift or craft, the cost will be $10 per child, minimum of 6 children, with two hours alloted in our upstairs party room. We'd also provide invitations for you to mail and maintain a "wish list" for your child - where your guests can puchase what your child wants from Enkore Kids at a discount! You would be responsible for food and drink.
We can make arrangements for cupcakes, pizza, drinks, and helium-filled balloons, too, for an additional charge. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this, so please comment to this post.
